The lady helping me at the DMV told me I could also have selected "Change, replace, or renew Texas DL" option. I'm not totally sure if that's because I was I held an out of state license or because I'd previously held a Texas license. FWIW I have the same driver's license number as I did before I moved out of state even though I chatrandom echat held another state's license in between.
