Coil racks on a flatbed — worth it?

Been running flatbeds for a while and might start hauling more coils soon. Thinking about getting a set of coil racks, but not sure if they’re actually worth the hassle. For guys who run them regularly, how do you like them? Any issues with setup, different coil sizes, or keeping everything secure when the road gets rough? Just trying to get some real-world feedback before spending money on a setup I might not need.

They make securement easier and give you a more consistent setup from load to load. I also like that they help keep the coils in place when the road gets rough. You may need to adjust things depending on coil size, so make sure the racks fit the loads you usually haul. Setup takes a little practice, but it becomes pretty quick. If you only haul coils once in a while, I probably wouldn’t bother. If coils are becoming a regular part of your work, the added stability and convenience are hard to beat.
