Can xenix run x-based window managers effectively?

I have some free time on my hands, and since I have a Toshiba T3100e/40 available, I thought it would be interesting to experiment with installing Xenix on it. The original drive is no longer functional, so I want to explore the possibility of running a graphical X-based window manager like OpenWindow or CDE on the system. I'm curious to see if it can be achieved and what the results would be.
