Playing Cuphead
The gameplay of Cuphead is rather straightforward, and it is quite comparable to older horizontal viewpoint action games like Contra or Rambo. To be able to collect debts for the Devil and his minions, you will command one of two characters, Cuphead or Mugman, in a battle against monsters. Using monsters—or, as we would say, debtors of the Devil and their henchmen—the Devil was able to collect debts. The only commands the player must use are for moving forward, moving backward, jumping, and attacking. The attack button can be held down to constantly fire at the adversary while coordinating your movements to deflect their attacks.
Boss and Levels
Cuphead is incredibly diversified and unique, and it has a ton of levels. Every boss has a level that corresponds to one with a different theme and environment. These stages are unique since the game's setting is created with exquisite beauty and a vintage cartoon aesthetic.
