I currently own an Alienware m15 Ryzen Ed. R5 laptop, and I have already engaged in a couple of IT support chats which were quite helpful. Currently, the plan is to have an IT technician sent over to repair my laptop in the coming days. Generally, my laptop functions properly, but over the past 1-2 weeks, I have been experiencing some issues. For instance, the display occasionally goes black until I refresh it using the shortcut Win+Ctrl+Shift+B. This problem was resolved in the first IT support chat by disabling Optimus in the boot screen. Additionally, after updating my main GPU to play Portal RTX, I noticed a red band appearing briefly (about 1/5th of my screen height) on a few frames. Restarting the laptop seemed to resolve this issue. Before that, I also encountered some unpleasant ghosting effects on Discord and Steam. Currently, my laptop is functioning fine, except that it no longer recognizes the integrated GPU, only the 3070.

With the upcoming repair service scheduled, I am hopeful that these issues will be resolved. However, in the event that the repair does not fully resolve the problems and considering that my warranty is valid until December 7th, 2023, shouldn't I be eligible for a full replacement? I believe I am just over 340 days into my warranty period.

I appreciate any insights or guidance regarding this matter.
