What causes random windows 11 freezes?

I recently upgraded to Windows 11, and although I want to like it, I'm experiencing frustrating random lag and freezing issues that persist. This problem occurs at seemingly unpredictable times. Sometimes it happens while I'm watching YouTube in Firefox, and other times it occurs when I'm launching a game or installing software. Most recently, it happened multiple times while attempting to install Adobe Creative Cloud. When these freezes occur, it seems that background processes continue to function. Audio continues to play, but video freezes, the mouse becomes unresponsive, and keyboard shortcuts like the Windows key do not work.

I've already performed two fresh reinstalls of Windows 11. Additionally, I've updated my BIOS and chipset drivers, but there has been no improvement. I've installed all optional updates as well, with no change in the situation. I even used DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to uninstall my GPU drivers and then reinstalled them, but this also had no effect.

Upon checking the Event Viewer, I couldn't find any issues, at least none that coincide with the timing of these freezes.

At this point, I'm unsure of what steps to take next, other than koows echat considering rolling back to Windows 10.
