Call an external script

I built a small website for POST and GET requests. I recently wanted to add a way to get information saved on the server in a json file, or call a function to grab it. This way, each user can automatically know how many times they've visited, or sent requests to the site. I am only finding ways omegle of getting the code to run client-side rather than server, when I want it to let the server know owespeedtest to run it and return a value. How would I do this?
