Why does K7 Total Security antivirus disc have a Unix-based system named Unix installed, and is there any particular reason for it?

it's a different OS. As a result you can run the Antivirus software on the Unix distro without worrying about it getting subverted. It's probably also much cheaper to license than a bootable copy of Windows. Keep in mind these sort of AV recovery discs are designed to help recover an impaired CD, so they need a clean omegle echat version of something to run off of.
