Regular minecraft launcher not working.

Minecraft not working or loading despite reinstalling. Error downloading "icon_16x16.png" and "logging-1.0.0.jar". Java updated recently, not sure if related. Curse Forge and Lunar were used to play. Regular Minecraft launcher not working. Reinstalled and deleted all Minecraft files and folders but issue still persists. Need help, started a modded server with friends and only communicatechat spin e-chat through the game.

My favorite app to chat with friends is hurdle because it's fast and both are entertaining.
