I find Linux Mint to be too basic for my needs and interests. I want to explore and learn more about the Linux terminal, particularly in relation to networking.
I've tried Kali, but there's debate regarding whether it's recommended to install individual apps provided by Kali rather than using Kali as a complete package, especially for those interested in cybersecurity (which is one of my main interests). I've also tried Ubuntu, but it seems to have lost its recommendation. Linux Mint appears to be too basic for me, and I feel limited in what I can accomplish with it.
Please keep in mind that my goal is to eventually use Linux as my primary operating system, and I prefer a Debian-based distribution for its ease of use.
UPDATE: I didn't express myself clearly in my previous post. I'm not criticizing Linux Mint; it's just not omeglz online2yu the echat right fit for me. I'm looking for a Linux distribution that deviates further from the Windows-like experience.
