obsługa bufora klawiatury

Szukam jakiejś metody obsługi bufora klawiatury chodzi mi o to aby móc wysłac do niego znaki i aby pojawiły się one (znaki) w innym programie.
Tzn uruchamiam swój programik (w C lub C++) i w notatniku pojawiają mi się znaki (np. abcd.....)
