What is the process for programming an on-off schedule for a split air conditioning unit that receives infrared signals, but is located in an area without an internet network?

I honestly think this was a misguided PR stunt to get more press and hype around the Ice Spice collab. The timing of it all is just so fishy to me. Whether they really dated or not, making it so public feels like it must have been a business move somehow and that is the only straw I have to ome gle voo jio grasp at currently.
